Ribbon Cutting San Joaquin Gardens

A packed house celebrated the completion of "The Terraces" at San Joaquin Gardens. This revitalizing renovation of one of Fresno's original upscale senior care facilities that originally opened in 1966 is now reminiscent of the Provence region of France and northern Italy's Tuscany in colors used, garden design and water features. State of the art exercise equipment, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, a bistro for healthy eating and gathering, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed accommodations would undoubtedly entice folks of any age to want to live there. Everyone in attendance was able to sample the great food coming from the bistro as numerous VIPs in attendance were giving recognition to all responsible for accomplishing this extensive reconstruction. Mark Steele, Regional Manager of ABHOW, was the master of ceremonies. He spoke of the organization's dedication and vision to enhance the lives of all the residents while providing the highest quality of care and safety. He introduced Chairwoman, Susan Anderson, who gave the proclamation on behalf of the County Board of Supervisors. Rev. Will Nolte delivered an invocation blessing of the residential care campus. President and CEO, David Ferguson of ABHOW, spoke briefly of accomplishments and growth of this successful organization. The new executive director, Jessica Lopez recognized the entire staff for the outstanding efforts put forth to cheerfully and affectionately care for each resident. Jessica introduced a long time resident of 9 years who said that she loves living at San Joaquin Gardens and is so very thankful that she does. San Joaquin Gardens is located at 5555 N Fresno St. Fresno CA 93710 (559) 439-4770 for more information visit their website at http://www.sanjoaquingardens.com/
