Ribbon Cutting - GNC Fig Garden Village

On Friday, October 14th, the Fresno Chamber Ambassadors helped celebrate the Grand Opening of GNC located at 5084 N. Palm Avenue in Fig Garden Village in Fresno. The afternoon at GNC was filled with contagious enthusiasm and good wishes to owner Sue Means. Impressively, this GNC is Sue’s sixth GNC location in the Fresno/Clovis area. It was clear to every visitor that Sue is very passionate about health and fitness; she wants to share her knowledge with the Central Valley. GNC offers a variety of vitamins and supplements, and is a great place to visit if you are interested in your general health maintenance. GNC is a prefect fit with the other shops at the Fig Garden Shopping Center. GNC offers the resources for persons of all ages and body types wanting to improve their health.

Ribbon Cutting - Lassens Natural Foods & Vitamins

Lassen’s Natural Foods & Vitamins is FINALLY open in North Fresno into the old Bentley’s Market location on Friant and Fort Washington. This, literally, family owned and operated market is THE place to go for fresh organic foods and high quality vitamins and supplements.
The Fresno Chamber Ambassadors were greeted by, Peter Lassen, one of the 6 grandsons of the Lassen Family who spoke of the humble beginnings of what is now a thriving chain of 10 stores throughout Central and Southern California.
The idea behind Lassen’s Natural Foods & Vitamins started in Camarillo, CA in 1971 by Hilmar and Oda Lassen. The Lassen Family wanted a way to feed their growing family, and the community they lived in, with healthy, wholesome, organic, low-processed foods at a good price. Forty years later they are still going strong and growing strong. Maybe it’s all the healthy food and vitamins?
Please stop in and see for yourself the wide variety of items Lassen’s carries. From their fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables to healthy, organic packaged and “only buy what you need” binned items. They also carry free range, grass fed and wild caught poultry, meats and fish. Check out their extensive variety of vitamins and supplements and be sure to stop by their incredible deli, fresh salad bar and bakery! All of it delicious and healthy!!!

And remember to please support locally owned and operated business!
