On Thursday September 16, 2010 the Clovis Homewood Suites by Hilton hosted the monthly mixer for the Fresno Chamber. The Luau theme was fun; there was a variety of gourmet food made by their very own Marcella Gilbert with the Homewood Suites. The Homewood Suites is an all suite property, where every room is equipped with full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and one bedroom suites. The hotel offers amenities such as microwave, stove, full size refrigerator with dish washer, 42” flat screen TV, complimentary hot buffet breakfast, complimentary managers reception in the evening (signature dinner, beer, wine, & assorted beverages), pool, fitness center, putting green, bar-b-que grills, complimentary wireless internet service in all of the suites and public area, complimentary business center, complimentary airport shuttle and destination within a 5 mile radius, onsite laundry facility, and complimentary grocery shopping service. Deke with the Fresno Monsters Hockey came out and mingled with the mixer attendees and was very popular with the ladies. The mixer was very well attended with a variety of different organization representatives, it helped to end my week with a pleasant Mai Tai.
