The July mixer at Clawson Motorsports was a gas. Okay, bad pun but a great mixer. The event was co-sponsored by Clawson Honda and Sandler Training Center Fresno. Being surrounded by an astoundingly huge inventory of some of the world’s finest motorcycles and water sports equipment seemed to create a special energy. The facility itself is a pleasure and Clawson Honda and Clawson Motorsports once again displayed the graciousness, and good taste that make them popular among Fresno Chamber members. The Clawson staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and everyone in attendance seemed to notice. The food and drinks were plentiful and beautifully displayed and a handful of people went home with valuable prizes from one of the free drawings held. Everyone enjoyed the live classical piano of Leonard Heifetz and although some tried to stump him with a request, none succeeded. Although some claim that they attend Chamber mixers to network with other business professionals and expand their business reach; on this night the truth was seen. They come for the food. I don’t know that anyone bought themselves a new 2 wheeled piece of freedom that night but there sure was a lot of touching, pretending, and dreaming happening on the showroom floor.
