Business After Hours Tradeshow
On Thursday, April 21st the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the Business After Hours event, Fresno’s Premiere Business Trade Show. It was held in the beautiful Radisson Hotel Conference Center in downtown Fresno.
Over 50 local businesses offering an array of services from banking, food, beverage, finance, entertainment and non-profit agencies, set up booths to showcase their products and services. It was an amazing networking event that was sure to please those who attended for their business or personal needs. In addition to enjoying delicious food and drinks, you also had the chance to win one of many fabulous raffle prizes provided by the vendors…just another incentive for attending!
A special thank you goes out to the Bronze Sponsors: Fresno First Bank and Heald College. And another big thank you to the beverage and ice providers: Milla Vineyards, Valley Wide Beverage Company and Jack Frost Ice.
Please contact the Chamber at 495-4825 or check out their website www.fresnochamber.com
for more information about participating in future Business After Hours events or any other great opportunities offered throughout the year.

Ribbon Cutting - Fig Garden Retirement
The Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors had the pleasure of providing a Ribbon Cutting for the beautiful Fig Garden Holiday Retirement Community located at 6035 N. Marks Avenue in Fresno. The Fig Garden community has been serving Fresno for over 20 years and there are also over 300 other locations across the United States and Canada. The Ambassadors had the honor of receiving a tour of the facility and were so amazed at all the wonderful amenities including a full service kitchen, chapel, gym, beauty salon, library, game room and so much more! With all the wonderful services, Fig Garden is definitely a community that is able to meet all of their resident’s needs and desires, all within a few steps of their rooms. In addition, I had the pleasure to talk with one of the managers, Frank Mazon, who shared with me even more of the services they offer that sets them apart. I was happy to learn that they offer month to month all inclusive rent, an extremely innovative travel program and that there are two management teams who live on site so they are always readily available! WOW! If you are looking for a place for yourself or a loved one, be sure to check out the Fig Garden Retirement Community! The Fresno Chamber Ambassadors went out to the California Institute of Medical Science for a Ribbon Cutting to welcome them into the Fresno Chamber of Commerce. The director Steven Jackson told us all about this business. They are committed to provide laboratory training to individuals from all backgrounds through academic and hands on training. Their main focus is phlebotomy. They have a series of classes along with internships that they do at various agencies around town to help students get real world experiences. The students leave the program feeling confident and prepared for the challenges that may arise while in the medical work environment.
