The Fresno Chamber Ambassadors received a great education from Palazzo at Campus Pointe, when they held their ribbon cutting ceremony on January 22. Student living has been taken to new heights with this brand new facility. Fresno State, easy freeway access, Save Mart Center and amenities make this an ideal and cost effective way for students to go to school. Each apartment comes fully furnished and is equipped with its own washer and dryer unit as well as refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove top oven. These apartments are rented per bed at rates from $375.00 a month to $700.00 depending on the suite, and there are seven to choose from. Remodel and Expansion for SPCA

The SPCA invited the Fresno Chamber of Commerce to join the celebration as they unveiled the remodel and expansion of the puppy and cattery facility. With the doubling of the site's size and the addition of many more cages, the SPCA provides and inviting experience to view the animals. The new acquaintance room allows people to meet and greet the animals so they can get to know pet's personality in a clean environment. Beth Caffrey at the SPCA says this reduces the rate of returns because people get to know the unique personality of their adopted pets prior to taking them home. With the increasing rate of euthanasia due to the economy ( the average rate per year is 30,000 animals destroyed!), this new site offers an incredible opportunity for people to adopt a new member of the family. After the ribbon cutting, Ambassadors and members of the community were invited to tour the entire facility. They are doing amazing work at the SPCA! Ribbon Cutting Script Life Pharmacy

Live Strong. Stay Well. Prescription for Life. This is the motto of the wonderful staff at Script Life Pharmacy and proud owner and Pharmacist Khoa Huynh. On January 27th, 2010 the Ambassadors celebrated the addition of Script Life Pharmacy into the Fresno Chamber of Commerce with a Ribbon Cutting. The Ambassadors were also joined by physicians and staff from Peachwood Medical Group who were all very excited to have Script Life Pharmacy as their new neighbor. Script Life Pharmacy has provided printer access to Peachwood Medical Group to help fulfill patient prescriptions. This makes it very convenient for patients and physicians. The physicians enter the prescription and it is directly printed out at Script Life Pharmacy so that the prescription is ready for the patient as soon as they check out and walk over.
The Ambassadors were also given a tour of the facility and learned that they are not only a Full Retail Pharmacy but also offer on-site Compounding. The ability to compound is a unique service that many Pharmacy's do not offer. Compounding is the mixing of drugs to fit a unique need for a patient such as changing the medication from a solid pill to a liquid, to avoid a non-essential ingredient that the patient is allergic to, or as a voluntary reason such as adding favorite flavors to a medication.
